En el proyecto (pantallas), Schevach y Authier realizan una serie de imágenes que examinan cómo la relacion entre el observador y su entorno se encuentra mediatizada por el concepto de pantalla, por ese filtro que separa al observador de lo Real, ese lugar intermedio que da cuenta de las relaciones entre visión y mirada. Se trata del espacio divisor, que protege al espectador y a la vez lo aleja de su referente. Porque ver sin la pantalla sería estar cegado por la mirada o tocado por lo real.
Imágenes que se proponen examinar el terreno invisible donde suceden las operaciones simbólicas, justo entre la subjetividad y la objetividad, entre lo real y su imagen mental. Un grupo de fotografías en que cada imagen funciona de manera referencial, pero a la vez crea un diálogo con otras imágenes: encerrándolas, reflejándolas, disolviéndolas, olvidándose de la anécdota, inventando su propio lenguaje y su propia relación con el mundo al que cree representar.

In the project (pantallas) / (screens), Schevach and Authier present a series of images that examines how the relationship between the observer and his surroundings is mediated by the concept of screen, the filter that separates the observer from the Real, the intermediate site of relations between vision and gaze. It’s the dividing space that protects the spectator, while it moves him away from the object of the look. Because looking without the screen would mean to be blinded by the gaze or touched by the real.
The images want to explore the invisible terrain where symbolic operations take place between subjectivity and objectivity, between the real and its mental image. A group of pictures working in a referential sense, but also creating a dialog with other images: locking them up, reflecting them, dissolving them, forgetting the anecdote, making up their own language and their own relation to the world they believe to represent.
